Silvercrest senior living is an assisted living facility in Katy, Texas. The project consists of four almost identical buildings in a lush-green tranquil setting. Keeping in mind the harsh Texas summer, the buildings were placed in such a way that they form an interior green courtyard that can be enjoyed around the year. A connected path of shaded trellis connects all the buildings and creates a tender semi-outdoor space between the building and the courtyard. The buildings are designed to look like traditional houses to make them feel more welcoming and inviting to the elderly, living in a home away from home.
